“The Distance” is the latest single from multi-instrumentalist Jackson Welchner. Using inspiration from Jazz and the unique flavours of the Toronto Rock scene, Jackson captures the longing and tension of a pandemic that has been disrupting our lives and social ecosystems for almost a year. Joining him on this track is the drummer from Sly Why and legendary Toronto band Luge, Stuart Mein, and jazz trumpeter Kaelin Murphy on affected trumpet. Aris Welchner provided the artwork.
